Bringing Soul to
McMinnville

Rich and soulful Creole and Cajun food has historically been a melting pot of French, African and Island cultures. We serve up Southern classics like broasted chicken, jambalaya, gumbos, po-boys, fresh baked biscuits and corn bread, hush puppies and fresh local oysters. Indulge in our southern soul food while listening to the cool sounds of New Orleans blues.

Laissez les bons temps roulez! Let the good times roll!

Serving up Soul

From the first taste to the last sip, our menu invites you into the heart of Creole cooking—bold, soulful, and made for lingering over with good company.

Our Little Gem

Kathy Stoler bought the Gem building in 2012 and took it down to the dirt floor to start rebuilding it as it was back in late 1800s as it housed the Gem Saloon. It is now on the National Historic registry. The original skylights were uncovered and a new wood facade was added to the front facing Third Street. Antique old mirrors, old memorabilia and original blues posters adorn the walls throughout the space. The chandeliers in the main dining room are from a historic Oregon theater. The antique brass chandelier over the bar and sconces were from a mansion in Sacramento.
